Bumping up base damage from 25 to 40 is massive, because well, it's base damage, all the other damage bonuses you get act on it, so they are all amplified.
Zag Spear: good but requires some specific hammers to really shine, like Exploding Javeling, Vicious Skewer, the chain one.Zag Sword: it's ok but not that strong IMO, since sword main focus is on dash strike and special generally.To make the most of it, Quick Spin is the ideal upgrade, as it greatly decreases this attacks charge time. Zag Rail gets increased maximum ammo: +4/+6 /+8 /+10 /+12 (default is 12) I'm pretty sure at least one of the Zag aspects has to be among the first that you should max out for easier runs, either to beat the game for the first time or for Heat run Titan Blood farming. The Zagreus weapons are always the cheapest, costing only 1 Titan Blood per level (total of 5), where as all the other aspects always cost either 15 or 16 to max out. Some weapons get very little out of leveling them up and they also cost different amounts of Titan Blood.
